HELP get this guy off the internet and into the funny papers where he thinks he belongs! Get this drivel off your computer for good! Call, write or drive down and picket your local newspapers and demand, yes demand, that they do everything humanly possible to put this lunacy in their comics pages. You’ve got to admit, they’ve got a lot of dumb stuff out there and this just might fit in! The newspapers will be dumbfounded and call their syndicates who in turn will be dumbfounded and will then go to www.seeFOODdiet.com and the rest, as they say, might be history! This will clean up your “cookies” and purge “seeFOODdiet” from your computer forever and into the bottom of your birdcage where it belongs!

Thank you for your support, I think!

What's with these Cartoons?

The cartoons are for the most part about food. Sometimes another subject may slip in, but hey, an idle mind is a cartoonist’s workshop!

Bubba, whose full name is Bubba Shoevalet (What's a Shoevalet?), is my alter ego. He loves his food; he is obsessed with food. He counts the pork chops and the pieces of fried chicken before dinner. He orders by size in a restaurant. When he's dieting (Natasha decides when), he will more than amply fill his plate the first time so he can look good skipping that second helping. He likes his food servings to come out even, and he adds as needed. He knows that food presentation is very important (only to the chef and waiter), but he wants a LOT of presentation!

Cartoon Frequency

In a perfect cartooning world one cartoon a day would be the objective. That is my objective. However since I have other responsibilities, SUCH AS WORK !, one a day is not always possible. So if you see a few days between cartoons it means: 1) I’m very busy with new jobs, or 2) I’m getting professional help and they won’t let me near this stuff anymore. If the cartoons become daily it means: 1) I’ve made it and its my full time job, or 2) my day job has tanked and I have a lot of time on my hands.

Got Any Ideas?

If you have any ideas about food, a joke about food, what has food done to you, for you, caused you to act crazy, etc., and if you have any food obsessions, please send them to me. Email your cartoon ideas. Click on the email address seeFOODdiet@comcast.net and just describe a joke or scene such as this: A couple was having dinner in a fancy restaurant. The waiter brings the orders and when he serves them Bubba looks at his fancy serving with those TINY PORTIONS and thinks to himself "I know it’s all in the presentation, BUT I LIKE A LOT OF PRESENTATION!"

Send your ideas to seeFOODdiet@comcast.net because sometimes I am a dunderhead and have no clue at all for a new idea. If you are extremely more "cleverer" (is that a word?) than I am (actually any idea will do), then I’ll draw the pictures and give you all the recognition. You’ll be famous!, right after me!, and right up there on your refrigerator!

Remember, no sense of humor is a terrible thing for your waist !

Who is this Guy?

I’m a lot more than this description, but after being a loving husband, father, son and brother, uncle and PAPA, I am also a mechanical engineer (drawing my "engineering cartoons" for building construction), and I am a sometimes Christian gospel singer and a sometimes songwriter, AND A WANNABE CARTOONIST!

REMOVAL FROM E-MAIL LIST: If you want to be removed from my e-mail list just write me and say "I JUST SAW CARTOON ## AND I WANT YOU TO GO AWAY AND STUFF YOUR FACE".

## is the number of the latest cartoon above, and no fair just making up a number! If you know the number at least you've seen one cartoon.
